4/5 General Music

For 4/5 General Music this year, your child will need a recorder and recorder book.

The best and easiest way to get both is to order it online through westmusic.com.  You can click on “Recorders” on the left side of the West Music web page, and then select “Recorder Packages”.

The book we will be using is “Essential Elements 2000 Classroom Recorder Method”.  Please select this book, and then proceed to select whatever recorder your child’s heart desires to go with the book.

Or you can order them separately if you choose.

You can also buy them at local music stores, but not all stores will have both recorders and books.  Again, the easiest way is through westmusic.com.  We encourage you not to buy a recorder at a local retail store as these are NOT usually of good quality.

Thank you for all you do to support music at High Meadows!  As always, please check the music department website by going to my.highmeadows.org and clicking on the Music Department tab
